are teaming up to offer Irresistible Creative Arts Camps this Summer!  

AROUND THE WORLD Summer Day Camp: For boys and girls ages 7 - 12 July 19 - 23, 2010 July 26 - 30, 2010 8:30 - 4:30 (with before and after care available) Professional Teaching Artists will lead campers on a journey exploring and creating art from around the world.  Campers will explore Art from Native American, Polish, Mexican and Chinese cultures. At Kids Dancspace@ eba, campers will transform themselves into performers from each culture and create Dances expressing the uniqueness of each culture. At the Albany Art Room, campers will explore the visual arts, costuming, performance props, and crafts of each culture and create visual art expressing the unique qualities of the culture. MYTH & LEGENDS Summer Day Camp: For boys and girls ages 7 - 12 August 23 - 27, 2010 August 30 - Sept. 3, 2010 8:30 - 4:30 (with before and after care available) Campers will write their own story, make their own book, create & perform their own piece based on their own myth or legend! At Kids Dancspace @ eba campers will dance and develop characters to bring their own story to life!  At the Albany Art Room, campers will write, illustrate, and construct their own handmade book based on their original story. August 30 week still has a few openings for Myths and Legends Creative Camp.

Dance, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Illustration, Performance Skills, Drama, Story Telling, Book Making, Props, Art Exhibit & Performance, & more!

The goals of  Kids Dancspace @ eba & Albany Art Room Summer Day Camps are to provide children ages 7 - 12 with a safe and enjoyable environment in which they can make new friends, learn new skills and develop their imagination in an educationally structured atmosphere and above all, have fun. Each day includes classes and creative workshops; 2 snack breaks, and lunch in Washington Park (weather permitting, of course!).  Mornings will be spent at the eba Theater and afternoons will be spent at the Albany Art Room.

Each day is filled with imagination and joy! Learn about art, create art and perform art.

Our Summer Day Camps are staffed with a Camp Manager, Camp Directors, Camp Teaching Artists and Camp Teaching Artist Assistants. The campers may be organized into age/experience appropriate groups. Group work will combine ages by interest or experience. Each group will have their own Teacher(s) and Assistant(s).
