Want to learn to dance like the Pros or just need some new moves? eba
Center for Dance has a class for you. Choose a class in Modern, Ballet,
Jazz, Hip Hop, Belly dance, Ballroom, Latin, Afro Caribbean and other
styles. Classes are available Monday through Thursday evenings during
each of the weeks listed. Call the eba Center for the exact day and time of the dance class you want to take. Pre-registration is required. Location: eba Center for Dance 351 Hudson Ave (corner of Lark and Hudson), Albany. 465-9916. www.eba-arts.org Special instructions: Wear dance clothes or easy

shoes or socks, and a warm top during cold months. Fee: $8.50 for one class/ $14. for two classes per week. Adults -same fee.

Teen Invitation to the DanceDANCE MOVES Learn great warm-ups, an Egyptian Belly Dance, an Israeli
Folk Dance, and an Hawaiian Hula...and that is just to get started!
Choreograph your own dance after exploring sports moves and basic
Labanotation. Then perform for each other in small groups. Try on
several different style dance shoes and learn how they are designed to
help prevent dance injuries. Finally, ask a professional dancer and
choreographer of the eba Dance Theatre about the many careers
associated with performing. This workshop is great for beginners and
experienced dancers. Pre-registration is required. Special instructions: Wear dance clothes or easy moving clothes, bring a bottle of water, indoor only dance shoes or socks, and a warm top during cold months. scouts will not be allowed outside the theater without an adult. Bring a bag lunch or have an adult supervisor take the troop to lunch at an area restaurant. Fee: $20. per Scout - no charge for adult participants.
