The Center can help broaden your horizons by encouraging you to look at the big picture of what you envision for your business, while narrowing the focus to identify tactical ways for you to make it happen. Working in affiliation with the local offices of the Small Business Development Center, you can begin to make your dream a reality by developing a business plan to act as a roadmap for your business development efforts.

How do I locate buildings and sites for expansion?
The Center can help you navigate the communities in the Rensselaer Gateway areas (Rensselaer County, Watervliet, Green Island, Cohoes and Waterford) by connecting you with the property owners and realtors that are showcasing available properties.
Secure Private & Public Financing
How do I identify and help secure private and public financing for business projects?
The Center encourages the growth of business by helping the owner navigate paths to secure traditional and non-traditional financing. The Center maintains strong relationships with local banks, the New York Business Development Corporation, Small Business Administration, City of Troy Loan Programs, Rensselaer County Loan Programs and the Capital District Community Loan Fund.
